Upromise.com

It’s never too early to think about college -- about the benefits of a college education and about ways to put college within reach academically and financially. Throughout their school years, students make academic and other decisions that affect whether they will be eligible to enter college. You -- working with others -- can help your child make these decisions wisely.
Upromise - Save money for college.

One of the ways we have found to accomplish this is throughupromise.com

upromise.com
is a college service provider that partners with hundreds of grocery and drug stores, service stations, restaurants, retail stores and online shopping sites.
All you have to do is sign up and check the website for participating merchants. Even friends and family can join upromise.com
to help save for higher education costs.

Still not convinced that upromise works? Here are what others have said about upromise.com:

*I have been a member of this site for years. I also have the UPromise credit card.
I think this site is very helpful. Since the site is free to join, u get money for free. Some people have said it isn't worth the little bit of money u receive. But even the little bit of money is helpful.
Plus the money they deposit toward a student loan is considered interest paid - which is tax deductible!
I have a few family members signed up, but they aren't as diligent as I am about using the site for purchases. But I am thankful for whatever they do to help!

*When I joined this site I didn't know whether to believe that it would actually save money for me. Well, I can tell you now that it definitely does!
Join Upromise and before you make a purchase online look on their site to see if they are sponsored on Upromise. If they are, follow the directions and a percentage of the money you spend there will go to your Upromise account.
You have to register your credit cards and store loyalty cards with Upromise and that is scary to a lot of people, but I haven't had any problems yet. You can have more trouble handing your card to waiters in restaurants, etc.
When you make purchases at some stores with your loyalty cards sometimes a product is also a sponsor of Upromise, like Cottonelle toilet paper. You get a few pennies added to your account. These pennies add up!
The fastest way to add money to your account is to talk your friends and relatives into joining for you and taking advantage of all the purchases that they make!
The best thing is you can save for college for ANYONE. Your child, grandchild, nephew, sister, neighbor's child, cousin--you name it, you can save for them. You can even save for yourself if you want.
I highly recommend Upromise to everyone.
